After a comprehensive investigation of thousands of legal documents, the American Association for Justice recently compiled a list of the worst insurance companies in America. Each of these companies writes auto insurance policies in Michigan. For Michigan automobile accident lawyers, the 2008 list is no surprise.
I must say, I was a bit surprised by this list. I have been working with various insurance companies throughout the state of Michigan predominantly the Catastrophic claims division and I haven’t had any problems with Allstate (#1 on the list), State Farm or Farmers. The company that seems to be the worst by far that I’ve had to deal with is Farm Bureau, who amazingly didn’t even make the list.
Anyone else have any thoughts on good or bad insurance companies?
