This is a shower installed by someone else. The total height of the shower threshold is 1″, the person who installed the shower put in a 1/2″ tall x 2″ wide threshold piece. The client is having difficulty getting his shower chair over the threshold.
We need to ramp the threshold, the wrong flooring was used in this bathroom and I’m worried about tearing out the 1/2″ tall x 2″ wide threshold. Anyone have any ideas on what a good solution to make the threshold flush with the shower? Or a ramping system that could accommodate the threshold? Photos below.
