I am always searching for ways to make homes accessible in the most affordable ways possible. Stairs are always an issue. Residential elevators are expensive to install and require a huge amount of space. I think I may have found a residential elevator that is less expensive and requires less space than standard elevators making them a feasible alternative for residential use. Canadian residences anyway, Onward elevators are still awaiting approval to be sold in the United States.
A big round of applause for the Onward Elevator, who needs a decent website but has a great product. This elevator takes about 4 hours to install, doesn’t require a mechanics room, and will turn to allow exit from two sides if necessary.
